Catering Terms and Conditions

Function Requirements
To ensure the success of your function, all event requirements including set-up, audiovisual, food and beverage selections must be received by the catering office at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the function.

All prices are subject to change without notice; the Club will honour prices for 90 days.

Service Charge and Taxes
Prices quoted are subject to increase without notice; the Club will honour prices for ninety (90) business days. All food and beverage is subject to a 18% service charge. All charges, including food and beverage, room rental, equipment rentals, miscellaneous items and service charges are subject to 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax). Tax rates are current and subject to change without notice.

We require the number of guests attending at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the function.  The number for your final billing will be either the guaranteed number or the actual number of guests in attendance, whichever is greater.

Method of Payment
Payment of the Master Account may be made by a credit card subject to approval by The Club.  Members may choose to sign charges to their Member number, subject to approval by The Club’s Accounting Department.  For all Parties and Events a non-refundable deposit  is required by cheque in order to hold the space on a definite basis.  The deposit will be credited to the final statement.

Room Rental
Room rental fees apply to all Parties and Events based on food and beverage requirements.
Member F&B Minimum of $200 Net Sales (7am-4pm) 
Member F&B Minimum of $400 Net Sales (4pm-1am)

Linen Charges
There will be an additional charge for any other colour or orders of linen.

Socan Charge
Socan is a tariff charged by law, on behalf on the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada, for any events that have musical entertainment.  This will appear on your Banquet Event Order and final statement.  The SOCAN? fee is subject to change without notice.

Set Up Charges
Set up charges may apply for parties and events.

DJ.s, Bands, Florist & Photographers/Videographers
Upon arrival to the Club to unload equipment, please do not block the stairs to the front entrance.  Quickly unload equipment and park your vehicle.  During set up, we kindly ask that denim, jogging gear, spandex and T-shirts not to be worn. 

Dress Code
The host is responsible for ensuring that their guests are properly attired.  The Club has a strict dress code - Denim, jogging gear, T-shirts, and spandex are not permitted at any time.

Liquor Laws
The Weston Golf and Country Club reserves the right to refuse the service of alcoholic beverages to any person who appears to be intoxicated.  You and your guests must be over the age of 19 to be served and /or consume alcohol.  The wait staff and bartenders have been “smart serve” trained.

Cell Phone Usage
Cell phone usage is not permitted within the Clubhouse premises.  (restricted use to the rented function space only)

Coat Check
Coat Check service is available through the Club, understanding that it is a seasonal requirement and unsupervised.

The Weston Golf and Country Club  will not be held responsible for loss of any personal belongings or equipment brought into the Club.

Smoking Policy
Weston Golf and Country Club is a non-smoking facility.

Cancellation Policy
If Convenor cancels the Booking such decision would constitute a breach of its obligation to The Weston Golf and Country Club.  Once signed by the Convenor, this agreement becomes a binding contract and a cancellation fee will apply at the discretion of the Club.
